Founder and CEO of TheraV

Amira Idris is the CEO and Founder of TheraV, a startup company that strives to help others live pain free using technology. Amira is a social entrepreneur with a passion for positively impacting lives. As a child, Amira was influenced by movies like Robocop which inspired her interest in the medical device and prosthetic field. She has a master’s degree in entrepreneurship and design from the University of Delaware (UD) and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, with minors in biomechanical engineering, and bio-electrical engineering from UD. While pursuing both her degrees, Idris was a full scholarship student-athlete for the UD women’s track and field division one team. Amira's career goal is to help others by combining her love for social entrepreneurship and engineering.
